Teen volunteers help to shelve books, shelf read, assist with programs, clean, and perform other tasks as assigned. The hours served at the ELANCO Library will count towards the Garden Spot High School graduation requirement. We are currently accepting applications for teen volunteers to work in the library for the 2016-2017 school year. Please fill out the Teen Volunteer Application and return it to Carla Castro at the library if you are interested in volunteering.
Adult volunteers shelve books, shelf read, file paperwork, and perform other tasks as assigned. Adults (ages 18+) interested in volunteering at the library must submit a Volunteer Application, a PA State Police Criminal History Report (Act 34), and a PA Department of Human Services Child Abuse Report (Act 151) to be considered for a volunteer position. If you have not lived in the state of Pennsylvania for 10 years, you will also need to provide a Federal Criminal History Report (Act 24). Documents may be submitted to Heather Smith at the library. You may also visit our Friends of the ELANCO Library page to find out how you can volunteer with our sister organization and support your library.
