Join the North Museum for an interactive hour of science and learn about how your ears and eyes take in information, how long it takes to burn off the calories in your favorite snacks and what your body looks like on the inside! Participants will learn about STEM and how each field relates to your body. Science: create a heart pump model and demonstrate how viens and arteries carry blood through your circulatory system. Technology: learn about advances in wearable technology and how electricity can travel through your body. Engineering: discover how the human ear was used to design the first telephone and how sound travels in waves. Math: decipher food labels and have fun counting calories.
