Digital Storytelling @ New Holland Library, with Lancaster County 4-H

Youth grades 2-5 will be introduced to the art and science of digital storytelling over this three-week course. Youths will learn how to tell a short story, and will produce a digital story that is close to their heart, by means of multiple media, including graphics, audio, video, animation, and web publishing. We will view our creations together on the last night we meet, at a viewing party!

Youth will use their own or family digital devices (tablet, iPad, smart phone, desktop computer) and various software (either free or paid service; family choice) to create their digital story, both during course time at the library and at home. Youth may schedule additional time to use the library digital resources to work on their production if their family does not have their own devices at home.
